Watercolor Class

Learn how to paint in Watercolor using photographs and observational techniques. Follow along with Brenda each class as she guides you step by step with your watercolor painting endeavor. Receive individual instruction and related demonstrations. Classes will cover a variety of subjects, including floral, still-life, landscapes and seasonal themes. Learn all about watercolor paint, paper, brushes and other related materials. Various watercolor painting techniques, color mixing and composition will also be covered.
This series is cosponsored by the COA and the Sherborn Library and is open to teens 16+ and adults. Materials will be provided.

About the Instructor: Brenda Goldman is a local artist and lives in Medfield. Brenda received a Bachelor of Fine Art Degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art, Magna Cum Laude, in 2008. Brenda enjoys sharing her art techniques with her students and finds teaching art to others a very gratifying. Her style of teaching has been well received. Students enjoy following along with Brenda as she paints with each class and gives personal instruction and demonstrations. Brenda has curated several art exhibits featuring her student’s Watercolor and Drawings, as well as her own artwork at the Westwood Public Library. She has also exhibited her artwork at several local art galleries and is currently a member of the Dedham Art Association.
