Join local Sherborn physician, Dr. Samantha Mekrut MD, FAAFP, for a general talk about menopause. Dr. Mekrut will define menopause, talk about what happens to our bodies during menopause, give an overview of hormones, talk about the stages of menopause, common symptoms, and general approaches to care. She'll conclude with tips on how to talk to your healthcare team, how to find reliable information and support, and open it up to questions.
Dr. Mekrut is a family physician with a focus on women's health. She is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP). Earlier this year, she founded Meristem Family Medicine, a direct primary care practice that brings personalized, evidence-based care to the Metrowest area and Norfolk County.
