About Dr. Verma: Dr. Verma was born and raised in India. She found her inspiration to venture into the realm of medicine from her father who practiced integrative medicine in India for 35 years. She devoted 5.5 years to the study of Ayurvedic medicine in India. During the final phase of her education, she joined my father’s clinic, an experience that significantly honed her clinical skills. After completing my education in Ayurvedic medicine, she worked as a resident medical officer with OB/GYN in an Indian hospital, gaining hands-on experience in midwifery and women's health.

In 2006, Dr. Verma's path led her to the United States, where she continued her holistic clinical education. She pursued a rigorous 4-year Doctor of Naturopathic program from an accredited naturopathic institution, Bastyr University, located in Washington. Her journey through Bastyr University was followed by a three-year period of providing holistic primary care in Seattle, Washington.

In 2016, she relocated to Massachusetts and took a sabbatical from her practice to embrace the arrival of her second child in 2017, cherishing valuable moments with her new family member. Dr. Verma has been a Sherborn resident since April 2021.

Currently, holding a licensure as a Naturopathic Doctor in Massachusetts, she joined Boston Holistic Health Center located in Boston Back Bay in August 2023. In her practice she focuses on women’s health and GI health. She takes a patient centered approach to holistic care, rooted in an understanding of an individual’s complete medical history, social history, genetic makeup, environmental influences, dietary preferences and lifestyle choices. She combines diet and lifestyle counseling, botanical medicine, homeopathy, and nutritional supplements with Ayurvedic medicine to holistically assess each individual and tailor wellness plan to their needs.

In her free time, she loves to cook for her family, enjoy nature walks, dance, listening to music and spending time with her kids.
