Cuisines Around the World: Korea

Join us for a fun cook-along program on Korean street food. Korean cooking is healthy and full of vegetables. In this online interactive class, we’ll learn how to make delicious Korean bibimbap as well as seasoned spinach and cucumber salad that you can easily make at home. 

Once you register you'll be emailed the ingredient list and recipe to cook along. Feel free to watch or cook along. 

This program will be led by Ploy Khunisorn, a native of Thailand. She went to Suan Dusit International Culinary School while she was working as a financial analyst in Bangkok. She came to the USA to do a master’s degree in Sustainability at Harvard University and a master’s degree in Education at Cambridge College. She started teaching cooking classes since 2014. Ploy has taught over 3,500 students to cook and bake Asian cuisines, vegan food, gluten free diets, pastries, and more. She is also working for CommonWealth Kitchen in Boston as the Director of Educational Programs and she is also a part-time cooking instructor for adult community education in the Greater Boston area including Cambridge Center for Adult Education and Arlington Community Education.

This Zoom demonstration is part of an ongoing series that is funded by the Sherborn Cultural Council as well as the Friends of the Sherborn Library.
